Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chex mix
  • 2 cups popcorn
  • 2 cups Cheerios
  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate-colored candies divided
  • 1 cup Robin’s eggs
  • 1 package of pastel-colored sprinkles
  • 2 –12-ounce packages of white chocolate chips
  • 1-2 TBS avocado oil optional

Method

  1. In a large bowl, combine Chex mix, popcorn, Cheerios, pretzels, peanuts, marshmallows, and ½ cup of the chocolate-colored candies (reserve the other ½ cup for the topping).
  2. Using a double boiler to microwave, melt the white chocolate. Stir frequently to prevent burning. Depending on the white chocolate selected, you may find that it is easier to melt with 1-2 TBS avocado oil. This helps prevent scorching.
  3. Pour melted white chocolate over the mixture from step #1. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour the white chocolate-covered mixture onto a large sheet pan covered in parchment paper. Evenly sprinkle the remaining ½ cup chocolate-covered candies, Robin’s eggs, and sprinkles over the top of the chocolate while still in its melted state.
  5. Put in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes to set the chocolate. Note: Be careful not to leave in the refrigerator uncovered for more than a couple of hours or the treat might take on other flavors from the refrigerator.
  6. Once set, use your hands to break into desired size pieces. Enjoy!
